Ron also has extensive experience in strategic planning, executive management, procurement, critical thinking, budgeting and P&L, franchisee relationships, team building and leadership, business process improvement, data analysis and insights, project management, new business growth, and product management.
As a Chief Operating Officer for Recipe Unlimited, Ron championed the Swiss Chalet brand and successfully repositioned the brand, integrating technology that drives better profitability and consistency across the brand and the 11 business channels within the restaurant. Leading strategic thinking, brand building, and the translation of the brand strategy across packaging, marketing, and merchandising tactics, ensuring the brand meets the needs of all stakeholders: guests, franchisees, corporate employees, and shareholders.
As the Chief Operating Officer for Scores Rotisserie and Baton Rouge Steakhouse and Bar, Ron was responsible for championing the Scores Rotisserie brand, working to develop and drive preference with guests. Ron led strategic thinking, brand building, and the translation of the brand strategy across packaging, marketing, and merchandising tactics, ensuring the brand meets the needs of all stakeholders. Ron successfully reversed negative sales trends, executed renovation programs, re-engineered brand menus, and created private-label wine and sangria programs.
As a Chief Operating Officer for Richtree Market Restaurants, Ron led strategic thinking and brand strategy that grew top-line performance while fine-tuning costs that drove a healthier bottom line. Ron reorganized and right-sized support staff to improve efficiencies, re-negotiated challenging lease deals, and developed a new store prototype that improved overall profitability.
